All of Denong Tea’s porcelain is handmade in Jingdezhen, China, which is often referred to as the "Porcelain Capital of the World". It is first baked at a high temperature of 2426° F to turn it to white china. Then using colored glaze, designs are drawn on the surface. Lastly, it is baked once more but at a higher temperature of 2480° F where the glaze permanently becomes part of the china. Our colored glaze contains absolutely no traces of lead, making it food safe. Our porcelain is sturdy, with color that will not fade even after repeated, long term use.

Which is better to brew tea, Glassware or Porcelain?
Denong Tea’s glassware and porcelains have the same great results when it comes to brewing tea because we use high-density materials for both our glass and porcelain. By using high hardness glass and a fire polishing finish, our glassware has near same properties as our porcelain teaware.
