Denong means Virtuous Farmers in Chinese

Since founded in Kunming, Yunnan in 1998, Denong has been heavily investing in the local ethnic groups building strong relationships with respect and love. Infrastructures were improved to better living conditions for the local communities while they diligently helped Denong in protecting the ancient arbor trees and managing their tea gardens. Denong team also regularly goes to these villages where they help teach the villagers how to improve not only the techniques of making teas but also on how to earn a better living and reputation. To this day Denong’s relationship with the local ethnic groups flourish in perfect harmony.

With a strong foundation in place, Denong has expanded throughout China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the U.S., and will start stores in Korea, and Japan.

 
   

Denong Tea Inc. has been committed to excellence in Pu-erh tea quality, tea tree conservation, and ancient arbor tea tree protection in Yunnan for over 20 years.

Denong’s tea processing factories pay strong and careful attention to the environment and human handling. Through the spirit of artisans, Denong’s process of Pu-erh tea making combines traditional crafts with modern advancement. As the leader in Pu-erh tea making,  Denong has developed two innovative processes to enhance the quality and taste of ripe Pu-erh tea:

1. Off-the-ground fermentation

2. Greenhouse fermentation & Tea cellar fermentation

Thus, Denong’s ripe tea has earned its unique mark and its esteemed place in the tea industry.
