Brewing Your Yunnan Pu-erh Brick Tea
Use a Pu-erh Pick to gently separate the tea leaves from your aged Pu-erh tea brick. Remove 3-5 grams of tea for every 6 ounces of water.
Bring the water to a boil, let it cool to 185°F, and rinse your tea leaves for several seconds before your first brew. Once your leaves have been rinsed, begin brewing with an initial infusion of 10 seconds. On your second brew, soak your leaves for 5 seconds before sipping the tea. Each infusion thereafter should increase the brewing time by 5 seconds.
