Honoring the meticulous ripening process this Pu-erh has undergone, it delivers pleasant woodsy and cooling flavors that envelop your mouth and are complemented with a returning sweetness in every sip. The fragrant, herbal notes that develop with every brew deepen alongside a beautiful maroon color tea water.
2016 Denong Commemorative Ripe Pu-erh
The meticulous process required to create ripe Pu-erh tea has lasted through hundreds of years, evolving and developing over time to become a singular method of creating delicious, complex flavors. In our 2016 Denong Commemorative Ripe Pu-erh tea, we’ve taken these techniques and created a tea that encompasses all the best aspects of ripe Pu-erh tea and molds them into a blend that’s truly special.
A Transformative Experience
At the first sip, you’ll encounter a woodsy, cooling sensation from this tea, but it is complemented by a returning sweetness, familiar to many who drink Pu-erh tea. A beautiful maroon color and exotic fragrance give the tea a palpable sensory presence beyond just your taste buds.
Brewing Fragrant Herbal Pu-erh Tea
Prior to brewing, gather 3 to 5 grams of tea for every 6 ounces of water. Bring your water to a boil and rinse the tea leaves for several seconds, as this revives the leaves and re-awakens their flavor.
For your first cup, brew the leaves for 10 seconds. The second brew will steep for a shorter amount of time, at just 5 seconds; but each infusion after that requires a brewing time of an additional 5 seconds. Now, simply pour and enjoy your cooling tea!
Denong Tea takes pride in providing you the highest quality Pu-erh tea. Discover a new passion with our 2016 Denong Commemorative Ripe Pu-erh.
